Boozewords Game Instructions
Boozewords is a giant, wall-mounted word game inspired by the classic Scrabble — but with a fun, party twist! Players take turns creating words with the available letter tiles, stacking up points and competing for bragging rights...or even prizes! Whether you're playing casually with friends or hosting a tournament, Boozewords brings big laughs, bigger words, and the biggest fun.
How to Play:
1. Set Up Your Game:
Make sure your Boozewords wall is fully installed with the magnetic skins in place.
Place all letter tiles on a nearby table or magnetic board so players can easily grab them.
2. Choose Who Goes First:
You can flip a coin, spin a bottle cap, or go with whoever most recently won a game night!
3. Starting the Game:
The first player must create a word that connects to the center line of the wall (or a designated "start zone" if you prefer).
Words can be spelled horizontally or vertically — but they must connect to the wall!
4. Taking Turns:
On your turn, add a word by building off existing letters already on the wall.
Each new word must connect to the existing grid and be a real word (no made-up nonsense... unless you make house rules!).
No diagonal words allowed!
5. Scoring:
Keep it simple or get competitive!
Award 1 point per letter in each new word you create.
Bonus points:
Double Points for words longer than 6 letters!
Triple Points if you use a rare letter like Q, Z, or X!
(Or, customize your own prize rules using the Boozewords Magnetic Prize Skins!)
6. Winning the Game:
Set a time limit or play until all letters are used.
The player with the highest score at the end wins!
Or, play just for the fun of it — loser buys the next round!
House Rules Ideas (Optional):
Booze Bonus: Create a drink-related word? Pick someone to take a sip!
Double Trouble: Misspell a word? You lose a turn and have to spin for a silly challenge!
Time Crunch: Use a sand timer to limit each turn to 60 seconds for fast-paced play.
Get Spelling, Get Laughing, and Get Competitive!
Boozewords is all about having a blast — so whether you're showing off your vocabulary skills or just making up ridiculous words after a few drinks, the only real rule is to have fun.
